About Me

My photo
EAGLE
The eagle is remarkable for strength, size, graceful figure, keenness of vision, and extraordinary flight. The eagle also symbolizes power, peace & friendship. The eagle symbolizes the flight of the soul, freedom, being at one with all there is - on the highest mountain tops and on rock cliffs it lives alone. The eagle's sharp eyes can see the tiniest details from a great distance - thus making the eagle the symbol of truth, of sense for details, of clarity and of seeing more than one thing at once - for nothing escapes the eagle's attention.

" The patrol system is not one method in which Scouting for boys can be carried on. It is the only method. "
- Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden Powell
Founder of Scouting

Troop Song

Since nineteenth hundred thirty three
Our glory has been high
the scouting spirits in our hearts
Will never fade and die
But of all the world's hearty lads
There's none that can compare
With the second kl scout group
Anytime and anywhere

Patrol Leaders of 2008
On our honour we promise that we will do our best:To do our duty to the God, King and country, To help other people, To obey the Scout Law.

For all the Eagles out there...

The foremost responsibility to be a good Boy Scout is to live with honor. To a Boy Scout, honor is the foundation of all character. He knows that "A Scout is trustworthy" is the very first point of the Scout Law for good reason. A Boy Scout lives honorably, not only because honor is important to him but because of the vital significance of the example he sets for other Scouts. Living honorably reflects credit on his patrol, his troop, and his community. May the white of the Eagle remind you to always live with honor.
The second obligation of an Boy Scout is loyalty. A Scout is true to his patrol, Scout leaders, parents, friends, school, and nation. His loyalty to his troop and brother Scouts makes him pitch in and carry his share of the load. All of these help to build the loyalty which means devotion to community, to country, to one's own ideals, and to God.
The third obligation of the Boy Scout is to be courageous. Courage has always been a quality by which men measure themselves and others. To a Scout, bravery means not only the courage to face physical danger, but the determination to stand up for the right. Trusting in God, with faith in his fellowman, he looks forward to each day, seeking his share of the world's work to do.

The fourth obligation of a Boy Scout is to be cheerful. No matter how hard a task that had been given by a PL, always be cheerful and take it as a challenge. They will not let stress or hard moments to slow them down. A PL will always want to see them completed their task easily with a smile on the face. The final responsibility of a Boy Scout is service. The Boy Scout extends a helping hand to those who still toil up Scouting's trail, just as others helped him in his climb to the top. The performance of the daily Good Turn takes on a new meaning when he enters a more adult life continuing service to others. As for an Eagle patrol, the Eagle stands as protector of the weak and helpless. He aids and comforts the unfortunate and the oppressed. He upholds the rights of others while defending his own. He will always "Be Prepared" to put forth his best.
You deserve much credit for having achieved Scouting's skills. But use your skills with confident, ever mindful that the Boy Scout is looked up to as an example. May the Scout Oath and the Scout Law be your guide for tomorrow and onward.
